Andrew DeMillo is the Capitol Correspondent for the Little Rock bureau of The Associated Press. DeMillo has held that position with AP since 2005. He covers Arkansas and national politics and government for the AP, and regularly writes book reviews. In 2023, he was named Diamond Journalist of the year by the Arkansas chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he is a former staff writer for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. He has also written for the Washington Post, the Seattle Times and Lexington Herald-Leader. Andrew is a longtime board member of the Arkansas chapter of SPJ.
